Parliament hinges are designed to open the door 180 degrees, clearing any obstructions so the door rests flat to the adjacent wall. Suitable for lightweight flush doors and internal double doors. Because of the short hinge knuckle (which is asetically pleasing) this hinge cannot sustain excessive loads or extra wide doors. If in doubt please consider projection hinges. Suitable for medium to heavy weight flush doors and external double doors.
